• In 2005 we ended the season with a balanced budget for the seventh consecutive year.

In April of 2003 we made our fifth appearance at Carnegie Hall in 25 years.

We have released three compact discs in the past six years, including one in July of 2006.

We received a surprise visit from Senator Nancy Larraine Hoffman in 2002, where she presented us with a check for $100,000 to increase our pension.

In 2001, we agreed to an unprecedented long term labor contract which included only minimal increases in musician compensation, but allowed the orchestra a period of time to pay down accumulated debt and complete an endowment drive.

In 1999 George Pataki presented the orchestra with the Governor's Arts Award.

Daniel Hege beomes music director of the Syracuse Symphony Orchestra.

 
 
Senator Hoffman joined us for a summer concert in Auburn to narrate "The Colossus." She also paid us a surprise visit where she presented us with a check for $100,000 to increase the musicians pension.
